Can I make payments to other Lynk accounts from my LynkBiz merchant platform?

Currently, you can only accept payments through your LynkBiz QR code, Pay With Lynk button or by sharing a payment request link directly to your customers. You can also cash out from your LynkBiz account to your linked bank account.

How do I issue refunds?

With a Merchant account you can refund customers instantly from your account.
Step 1 Open LynkBiz on your device
Step 2 Login using your email address and password
Step 3 Select "Last Transactions" tab on your dashboard Step 4 Click "Refund" button next to the desired transaction
Step 5 Confirm the refund amount and click "Next"
Step 6 Confirm recipient details for refund and insert reason for refund (You also have the option to add notes)
Step 7 Click "Issue Refund" button


Once your customer receives the refund the transaction status will change from "Paid" to "Refunded". (Allow 2-3 days for refund to be processed)

How do I receive payments?

Lynk users can pay you instantly for goods/services using the Lynk app by scanning your assigned LynkBiz QR Code or when you share a payment request link.  

NOTE: LynkBiz customers are not currently listed on the Merchant search in app or on the website. However, you can share your QR code or a payment request link via email or other messaging services.

Currently, with a LynkBiz merchant account you can view all your transaction activities and receive payments from Lynk users using your LynkBiz QR code or by sending a payment request link via email or other messaging services.

How do I get money in to and out of my LynkBiz merchant account?

You can Cash Out from your LynkBiz merchant portal directly to your bank account of choice. Cash Outs will reflect in NCB bank accounts instantly and all other local bank accounts within 1-3 business days.

Look out for our upcoming new features which will include:

  • Cash In options
  • Bulk payments to process salaries and pay vendors

You’ll be the first to know when these new features become available. You can also let your assigned LynkBiz account representative know if you’re interested in being a part of our test group for these and other features.

What will I see in the merchant portal?

Can I change my profile name on LynkBiz account?

Can I change my Lynk.iD on my personal Lynk account?

Users on our mobile app cannot currently change their Lynk.iD. However, a micro-merchant Lynk.iD (@merchant-name) can be changed if you submit request to help@lynk.us.

How do I Log into the merchant portal?

Log in to the merchant platform by visiting www.lynkbiz.us. Enter your username (the email you used to create the account) and password to login.

What happens to my account in the Lynk app when I create a LynkBiz merchant account?

Your current account in the Lynk mobile app will remain available, however it will not be linked directly to your new LynkBiz account on the merchant platform. You can still use the Lynk mobile app to Top-up, Bill Pay and Transfer money.

Ready to Cash In via bank?

Follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Go to Lynk’s home screen and select More

Step 2: Choose Cash In then Bank

Step 3: Select your bank of choice and card type (Debit/Credit)

Step 4: Select currency (example: Jamaican Dollar, JMD)

Step 5: Enter your card details and a nickname for your account

Step 6: Your card is now connected. Get lynking!

Why am I seeing that the sender cancelled or requested a refund?

How long after a remittance is sent, can I collect it?

Remittances sent can be collected within a period of up to 180 days or 6 months. If you're unable to collect your remittance within this timeframe, otherwise please contact MoneyGram or Western Union.
